Why Film?
I have been photographing on film for 6 years now. I value the craftsmanship of the art. Every original is the result of a deliberate process: exposing the negative, developing it by hand, and creating a final print in the darkroom. In a world of instant images, film allows me to create work that exists off of a screen in an archival way.
